Payment Questions

Still have questions about an emergency dental consultation in Raleigh, NC? We've got answers. Email us for a fast response.

  • No, your payment pays for the cost to hire a dentist to answer your call outside of normal business hours.

  • We can accept Care Credit. However, because we don't have corporate backing, we can't afford to defer payments. Remember, our prices are 20% below the usual customary fee to make it affordable.

  • We estimate that this occurs in less than 2% of our scheduled appointments. However, if it does, our consultation fees include all diagnostic studies excluding treatment. We will provide you a copy of what we have done and a trusTED referral.

  • Your payment goes to setting up the required instrumentation for your procedure. Typically, an exam is done and there is a waiting period for the room to be set up. Your payment covers our costs to open sterile instruments for the intended procedure. In the past, we had too many people schedule appointments and “ghost us," or not show up. To prevent that, we ask for pre-payment to cover our business expenses.

  • We will refund your money if you cancel within one hour of scheduling your appointment. Please email your cancel request to

    info@triangleemergencydentist.com

  • No, failure to not show up is on you.

  • Schedule an after-hours online appointment, and then we will schedule you accordingly.

Average Financial Costs Per Treatment

Still have questions about an emergency dental consultation in Raleigh, NC? We've got answers. Email us for a fast response.

  • The usual customary fee to remove a tooth is between $250-370. The cost varies depending on if it is a nonsurgical or surgical procedure. If there is an associated abscess with the tooth, there will be an extra charge to drain and remove the abscess.

  • Please remember, root canal therapy is successful if the foundation of the tooth is solid. This requires an exam with a radiograph. In 60% of the cases, we see the tooth is compromised and should be removed versus having a root canal therapy. Root canals can range in price from $1000-$1500 dollars. The success rate of root canals is 97% when a dental crown is placed on the tooth. The cost to build up the tooth and place a crown can cost between $1100-$1300. You don’t have to do the crown right away, but you should plan for it in the immediate future. TED can give you solid advice on how to handle this.
